The group’s involvement in Bosowa represents a major strategic investment within one of Indonesia’s largest industrial conglomerates. Through a substantial convertible loan repayment in 2014, the group secured a 33% shareholding in the entity via CTI International. This partnership connects the group to a leading producer of composite cements and industrial materials, operating with a combined capacity exceeding 6 million tonnes per year across the Indonesian archipelago and international markets.
The synergy between Bosowa, the group’s trading operations via Levant Resources Hong Kong, and its shipping arm allowed for a fully integrated supply chain from raw material mining to sophisticated maritime logistics. By utilising specialised cement carriers managed by Levant Marine, the group facilitated the movement of building materials to export markets across Asia and Africa. This association reflects a decades-long heritage of industrial self-sufficiency and a dominant role in the global cement trading and shipping sectors.
